Our main products are the spelt, lentils and maize that we grow in rotation in six hectares of land. Even chestnut and all its by-products are very important for us. Drying chestnut by ancient methods we obtain the known "farina di neccio" (a kind of flour) of Garfagnana, in an our efficient drier then starting the breaking, traditional too. In woods around Pallunga, you can find a lot of the delicious boletuses, delight for keens and tastes. It can be found in company even maize flour of eight line quality, here well-known as "formenton", varied cheeses, pork sausages, varied honey and jams, wood fruits such as bilberries, raspberries, strawberries and mulberries. On booking we organize tasting, accompanied by olive oil and vintage wines, made by our friends on the hills of Lucca. |
